The Vision

Just as Hurricane Katrina affected every resident of New Orleans the surrounding region, we are trusting God for a movement of young people who will impact every part of the city, as well as the rest of the world, with the hope of Jesus Christ.

Imagine a day when thousands of students from across the city and surrounding area are gathering on a regular basis for prayer, worship and teaching. Imagine a network of hundreds of small groups where students meet for discipleship and accountability. Imagine a culture of "spiritual multiplication" where students are winning their friends to Christ, building them in their faith, and sending them out to do the same. Imagine a culture of service within these movements, with hundreds of students every week giving their free time to rebuild neighborhoods, schools and churches. Think of the healing and transformation this would bring to the city and the region.

Student Led-Movements

To see this vision become a reality, we are helping students plant movements of spiritual multiplication on every campus committed to four things:  Praying for the campus, Winning people to Christ, Building them in their faith, and Sending them out to do the same.

The culture on college campuses is complex and diverse.  No single ministry will appeal to every student.  To effectively reach every student, it going to take a variety of student-led "contextualized" movements that will permeate every pocket of campus:  Ethnic students, athletes, Greeks, intellectual students.
